Hi, I'm looking to purchase a used 308. The clutch bite point is quite high and I'm wondering if this is normal for this car or could the clutch perhaps be on its way out?

Is someone with a 308 please able to confirm if this is the case with their vehicle?

Many thanks

My 308 also has a high clutch bite point, but the clutch operation is quite light and has no slipping, although driveability in slow moving traffic isn't always great it still does the job. I bought mine a year ago I think its quite common with the 308 and 307 and could go on like that for years.
Try and test the clutch for slipping if possible and make sure the pedal action is nice and light, heavy operation could also indicate a new clutch will be needed soon. about £400 fitted.
