2005 1.6L petrol hatch. I'm getting a heavy sounding clonk noise from front suspension i guess when going over bumps or uneven surface.
Changed bottom ball joints, track ends, stabilizer links and top mounts.
Still doing it, bottom arm bushes appear ok not split or perished.
Inner tie rods seem ok too.
Puzzled :(
Anything i've missed?
Thank you

Springs are ok checked when replacing top mounts, thanks anyway
Does the noise disappear when the brakes are lightly applied?

Mine had a front end rattle that was difficult to track down - turned out to be the brake pads loose in carrier - cheap pads with weak metal spring clips on rear which wouldn't hold well in the piston.

Check/replace the engine mounting located underneath the battery box.
A 307 that I had was clunking/banging and changed everything on the nearside including the suspension leg and top suspension bearing and someone (can't remember who but think it was someone on here) suggested the engine mounting, changed it and all was well after.
Not a big or expensive job, £5 - £10 part looks a little like a mini volcano
Worth looking into especially if clunking is from the nearside
