Clarion head unit to blaupunkt CDC

Hi,

I have just had to change the factory fitted in-dash blaupunkt CDC changer in the wife's 307, I have exaclty the same model but now the Clarion head unit does not seem to recognise the fact that it is there, is there a procedure for teaching the head unit that it actually has a CDC attached. Thanks.
