Hello all!

I currently own a 2006 Peugeot 407 Coupe 2.2i petrol and I am looking for a new rim set for summer tires. Now the car is on a winter set, 7.5Jx17 H2 ET45, 235/50Z R17 and they look a bit too small. Found nice Ford rims, 7.5Jx18 H2 ET49 R18 and I'm not sure if they fit because of bigger offset.

Here is the list of setups for the car, according to wheel-size.com:
215/55ZR17 7Jx17 ET48
235/45ZR18 7.5Jx18 ET46
235/50ZR17 7.5Jx17 ET45
235/40ZR19 8Jx19 ET40

Would these rims fits on my car? What tires should be used for these rims?

Sorry for not understanding basic things, this is my first time I go for bigger rims :)

Thank you.

The ford wheels may not bolt on due to fords nut system being different to peugeots bolt system the peugeot bolts may not hold the ford wheels secure this is not because they are ford more to do with the size of the bolt holes.

But how all these aftermarket rims fit on different cars? They are not made for a single manufacturer.

As I know, rim nuts aren't flat, they have same collars as bolts that fit into rim holes. Maybe different wheel bolts would help?
