hi,

I bought a key fob case off ebay for my peugeot 307 as the buttons were missing on the old case but now the car wont start, the fob unlocks the car and it tries to start up but wont, the lock button doesnt work on the fob as the piece is missing on the main board. Before with the old case the buttons were un-usable but it always started up...

Does any1 know how to fix this or how to re programme them? not forgetting that the lock button never worked on the key fob lol

If it's got a separate transponder did you transfer it over?

Was the same board i only changed the case over with same old key its a 2001 peugeot 307 1.6 rapier

I suspect the transponder it not on the board but held in the fob, hope you ain't binned it.

thanks for the help, i found the old case in the bin and noticed the little chip inside and car now starts..the chip was hidden well with no prints on it, just looked like a part of the case lol
