hi

i have a 2005 307 sw - it has an rd4 cd player and it did have an IDC A04 cd changer.

the changer has died.

i am after a changer that will work on the rd4 stereo as i have bought one of ebay that didnt wqork at all, and i just ordered a cable to plug into the read of the rd4 to allow mp3 input and that is the wrong fitting.

is there a specific cable that will work for me to allow an mp3 player to be fed in ?

You can buy an interface, Xcarlink or Yatour or buy the RD4 MP3 headunit

do you know what it costs to get it programmed ?

this model has the option of "aux 1" input - with a picture of a minijack plug.

is that a cable that plugs into the back that i can get ?

would be nice to be able to plug an ipod etc in.

Yes I have activated AUX1, AUX2 and CD Changer / USB box, so you can connect whatever you like

Excuse my ignorance but I only see aux 1 as an option, dont see aux 2 at all.

And what's the USB option, I dont see that, how do I use that ?

Where can I find a cable to use the aux inputs ?

There is one AUX port which supports AUX1 and AUX2
I have configured AUX2 to "external mute", so if you fit a Bluetooth telephone kit, the sound from headunit will mute when you receive a call.
On AUX port, some pins are for AUX1 and some for AUX2.
You can buy the AUX input kit, part number 9706AG, this is not expensive, it fits in the glovebox and has jack connections.
The other port is for CD changer or USB box, that also has been enabled

part number 9706AG, this can be bought from Citroen or Peugeot

Just checked on servicebox, 9706AG costs £25.72 and that's from any main dealer
