Hello,
I have a C4 Cactus with Android Auto & Carplay func. I noticed that sometimes if i stop often, the Carplay is not recognizing my phone anymore and I have to stop the car, lock it and wait a while for the radio unit to reboot so then it starts working again. I am using an original apple cable and i have a iph 12 up to date, but i suspect that it's the navi to blame here. Also, the navi is up to date. I'm posting here because my car kinda shares the same parts.
