Does anyone know what the "card slot" thing is on the right side of the steering wheel? I asked at the dealers today while teaching them about Tom Toms and was told " oh that's there for something or other". Any ideas as I've even looked in the on-line manual and can't find anything

If it's the same slot as on my existing 3008 (and it sounds like it is) it's just for holding some sort of ticket or similar, I keep my Green Flag membership card there so it's handy if I break down, although I have never needed it :)

I keep my Morrisons More card there for when I pay at the pumps.

I understood it was only one year assistance which could be extended at cost.
Warranty 2 year manufacturer plus one year dealer.
hmmm, what model have you got Ducatiz? maybe it is a GT thing? I have three years with mine (got a pack through the post also confirming this, with the T&C's etc) - and did not pay extra for it.

That's good news, I was reading the brochure!
I should be collecting GT in next couple of days so will find out then.
The great thing also with Peugeot assist is they can be summoned by pressing the Peugeot button in the overhead console, and your location details are automatically transmitted to them so they know exactly were you are :thumb:

Hopefully never be needed but a great solution.

I was also under the impression the assistance was only for a year then you could extend at cost. I also believe it's with the AA and I've not been a fan of theirs for several years and as their continental cover isn't as good as my current cover I'm sticking with what I've got.

I'll double check my paperwork this evening.. I recall it being three but have been wrong before!
