Oh! Yes! Mine is a carburetter engine. I think I made the biggest blunder by changing the carburetter of my car to smaller one in an effort to reduce fuel consumption. This is a 405 Estate (1993). The car has lost tremendous power and is having trouble going up slopes. Gear 3 struggles on a slope that I previously easily covered with gear 4 or 5. It also keeps stalling as I think that the engine gets drained of petrol. I have ended spending more on fuel than with the original carburetter as I have to really step on it to have the car move. Can this be reversed? What did I do wrong? My location is Nairobi, Kenya in East Africa. We do not seem to have any sort of expertise on the ground in this area. Thanks,

Caroline
