Ok say only had my car a day but fiddling round with the settings it seems i could set the car up as a client or as a provider by setting a network name and pwd etc. I did this and connected to it from a tablet but didn't get any wifi so what's it's for ?

Btw, loving the little 1.2 engine, it's really good. I'd say it's better responding than my company 2.0 bluemotion passat estate particularly after vw 'fixed it'

I suspect they will offer incar wifi as a service using the 4g of the built in sim to compete with the like of vauxhalls onstar service. Saying that my DS5 also has a built in sim and a citroen service button, to which they planned to add value add services, 5 years later.. i'm still waiting lol.

You can log your car in to your home WiFi or phone hotspot, I understand.
