The boot of my 307 is a bit dodgy. Sometimes i go to open it and nothing happens. I thought locking and unlocking the doors with the fob fixed it but i think that may have just been a coincidence as it seems random now. Sometimes it wont open for ages, then other times i go to it press the button on the boot lid and it pops open first try.

any ideas?
common fault?

Probably the small micro-switch in behind which triggers the lock to open. Could either be a worn switch, or a break in the cable. I'd remove the panel from inside the boot and take a look at the switch.

Mines been doing exactly the same!!

Ive ordered a new handle unit, any ideas on how to get in the boot??

Is it as simple as taking the panel off and popping from the inside??

Get in trough the back seats and their should be a small hole on the lock mechanism use a thin screwdriver to push into this hole and boot will pop open:thumb:
