From time to time, I use VPN to simulate France and connect to servicebox with account made for this country. I do this since not all the features of servicebox are available in my country. TSB list is one example. But suddenly, I can not open the parts to see OEM numbers when connected to VPN. It asks for subscription. When I use account for my country, without VPN, I can access the parts section.

How about you guys, can you still see the parts for free in your country?

Thanks for checking. Really strange that suddenly it asks for subscription for France. I just tried making new account using UK servers and it works fine.

Just an update on this. Today I logged in to see if anything changed using french VPN and bad news. There is a notification that they are charging now even to see parts number for non-professionals and if you are professional, just selecting that option is not enough, you must contact them and prove you are professional. For now I sow this only in France, for me in Bosnia it is still free, and when I use UK VPN it is still also free. For how long, we'll see.

The only notification I see is that the non PSA service data website is no longer available from 10th Jan

For now, it seems this only affect France, let's hope they will not start doing it for other countries.

Hello,
Per our phone call ,the access to technical documentation is free in the following cases:
  • The RI is attached to a PR distributor.
  • If he has taken out a documentation subion / still valid (not used).
Note:You must ask Parts distributor to add as a client (Once the action on the Parts distributor side has been done, you will have to log in to update your dealership data on Service Box )
Thank you

Said this was happening on a previous thread.

Suppose it was a matter of time before PSA shut out individual accounts that weren’t attached to a proper garage repair business

Shame really.

Have to rely on the offline version I have now. Better than nothing !

Shame indeed. And offline version is pretty much outdated.

My 207s a 2009 so far I’ve found the offline documents pretty accurate. At least enough to get me info I need when repairing

Probably as the newer car you might need info on then yes I can see it being more out of date as the year gets newer

Yeah, for 207 it's ok, but mine 308 is 2015 and there is no info in the offline version.

But, I'll buy subscription once and save pages for offline use for my vin.

Yes, I guess they did the testing for France only and then activated for the rest of the countries.
