Hi there all...first post.
I'm looking at a 407 1.7 petrol SW the weekend.
I'm pretty capable mechanically but don't want to buy a lemon either.
Haven't any experience with pugs so wondering what I should look out for???

It's only covered 50k miles and looks in good nick.

Nice cars if been looked after properly. Don't know much about the petrols but at that mileage with a good history it should serve you well. One thing to check is that if it has duel climate control that this is working correctly (make sure temperature adjusts correctly on both sides) as the flaps inside the heater box are prone to failure and this can be an expensive repair. Plenty of info on here about this if you do a search as well as any other niggles these cars can have. Good luck.

Yeah read about that prob... So it's only on models with climate control!. I see there's a marker fix so no big problem there bar the time and Robbin the kids markers!!

Anything irreversible to look out for?
And is that engine capable enough?.. What's fuel economy like?
It's a 2009
Cheers
