After a recent incident with a pheasant and the front grill of my car i now have a new grill ready to go on, according to haynes manual i need to remove the front bumper, this looks simple enough however i need a10.00mm rod with a 90 degree bend in it to free 2 clips on each side which attach bumper to wing.....does anybody know if an allan key could be used for this or am i going to have to make something to use first or worse still buy something to do the job? The car is a 307 sw 2006.

I have never needed one on a 307 . Remove the 2 30 torxs along the top edge of the bumper and four retaining clips. 2 10mm bolts at the edge of the bumper which go up vertical into the wing just under the arch shield. Remove the undertray retaining clips, then pull the side out and forward at the same time.
