My 307's battery wouldn't hold a charge and was stuck in economy mode so I took it to the dealer as stupidly I took out a warranty when I bought it.
After three days the technician said a short with the interior light was the problem and he had replaced it - I was a little surprised because when I spoke to him on the first day he said he had found a fault with the interior light and removed the fuse but the fault was still there. When I asked him how come removing the fuse didn't clear the fault he said that the BSI 'stores' the fault until it detects that the faulty part has been replaced - is this correct as to be honest it sounds a little strange to me and an interior light fault isn't covered by my warranty but almost anything else is.

Yes, there's a log in the BSI which reports everything I think it has a red down arrow next to the fault when its detected and a green one pointing up when sorted.

IIRC even minor things like bulb failures are logged.
