I noticed a space on the inside of the boot for a breakdown warning triangle but it was missing, should it have come with one? Dealer told me they don't come with them and that you have to buy it afterwards but frankly I don't believe anything they've told me.

You can believe what your dealer is saying on this one, these are only provided where that country's law dictates you must carry one in the car, France is one country.

I imagine Peugeot do one that fits exactly. I have several, and they are all too small for the storage space, and rattle around when driving.

Surprised they don't do a kit HiVi triangle first aid kit etc. Peugeot are missing a trick there.

Thanks for that. Yeah I've got a couple of spare triangles in the garage but they're too big to fit in the space, never mind.
