Break pedal gets hard after a few hours

Hi, did you find a solution to this problem? As to whether you are safe to continue driving with this problem, just imagine someone pulling out in front of you and count say 2 seconds before braking happens! at 30 mph you will travel 88 feet before the servo is up to pressure. Hope you've fixed it.
My 406 had the same problem. It needed the brake servo changing.
