hoping someone can help. set about changing the brake discs on rear of 307, when got them out they were worn to metal. problem is I cant get the piston compression tool into the gap to start winding the piston back in to fit the new pads. could it be because the pads were so worn that the piston has come out too far? Any suggestions welcome as sat looking at car in bits on the drive at the minute. follow up, just done the other side and it took minutes as pads were not as worn and piston not as far our. Any ideas how to get the piston back in when I cant even get the winding tool in the gap.

thanks

Gary
