One of MOT fails was brake hoses catching on steering/suspension. Hoses aren't damaged and need repositioning. Quote £90+, which is about 1.5 hr + some brake fluid I think. Assume complete bleedthrough if opening the system. I need to do some other brake work myself because I've done a home diagnosis and have to take responsibility for the result, so I'm planning to tackle this one as well. Diagnostic costs £65 with them! Also won't mind saving £90. Car is still at the garage so I can't post photos just yet.

2 questions: has anyone come across this? I'm assuming Pug would have fitted all the hoses the same, ie cockeyed. Solution might be obvious when I get the car up, but I'd welcome a bit of advice first. Also I've heard that bleeding these brakes risks getting dirt into the ABS pump, garages use Planet to operate the pump to avoid this??? I've bled through before on ABS systems and not had a problem. EDIT it's a 407 but experience of other models might be relevant
