I kept getting a 'Brake Pads worn' message evry time I turned the wheel. I knew the pads should not be worn but checked them anyway. I also checked the sensors and one in the front seemed to be the cause of the problem. I disconnected it, cleaned it and connected again. I solved the problem of getting the message every time I turned the wheel but still get the message when I first switch the engine on and at intervals while driving but it's not nearly so annoying. The hazard triangle also stays on. Is there sstill a fault or is there any way of getting rid of the message and the warning light?

Brake problem

Aye I think I'll do that. Just didn't know if it would affect the car's computer - or whatever it is that creates these wee messages that keep popping up.
