Can anyone who's taken delivery tell me if there is a secondary cover over the spare wheel compartment when the adjustable shelf is raised to the upper setting. There is one in the pre 2017 models I was wondering if the new model has one....I forgot to check when I had a test drive.

I had a feeling there would only be the one shelf. Another minor matter that would have improved the car. I wonder if the one in my current 3008 could be made to fit. It would make the space a better area for storage.

I can't make my shelf higher or lower, and dealer told me that wasn't possible with the spare wheel. Is he right, or am I doing something wrong. Damn thing weighs a ton with the boot liner on top of it!!
If you have a spacesaver then the boot is supposed to be adjustable. Lower level directly on top of the spacesaver and upper level in line with lowered rear seats.

If you've opted for a full size spare then there's no adjustment to the lower level. Page 138 of the manual covers it.

I use a cut down bread tray that fits all of my bits and pieces under the mid position boot floor on my current 3008. I'm hoping there's room to fit it in the new car. I only need a 4" gap.

The spare wheel does stop it going any lower, if you look you can see where it would slot in at the back under where it does now, if that makes sense.

Its might be tight, but depending what in the bread tray you might be able to get some/most of it in the toolbox that's in the centre of the spare wheel.

So you mast have gone for a full size spare as opposed to a spacesaver.

I didn't go for a full size spare, but it sure looks like one. Maybe it comes standard with Grip Control??
Same here. I'll just have to wait and see.

I thought the boot could be set at the lowest level if you had a spacesaver...
Looking at this YouTube video there is a tyre in the boot might be all my stuff inside stopping it, although he was showing the mythical sliding boot floor. If your desperate I'll take everything out and try I would never lower it I like it flush

Look at 1min 51 sec

Don't worry about it. I'll find out in due course, hopefully in the not too distant future.

With the boot floor in the lower position, can you still fit the parcel shelf under it? I've got a boot liner which needs the floor to be in the lower position, but have not found a way to fit the parcel shelf in, which is a real pain! Cheers
