The car is a Peugeot 307 (2003)

The problem is -

When I press the catch on the boot the catch won't click -
(for days sometimes)
Then sometimes it clicks and I hear the mechanism release but it doesn't release!

Then sometimes it opens but after I close it it keeps releasing -
While I'm driving even!

Anyone have an idea of the problem?

Thanks guys...

Regards
Dave

We had a similar thing with our Xsi. What we did was take the handle apart and found that some water had been leaking in, so my other half solder what he could and put some plastic covers on and we put it back in, and never had a problem since. But I'm not saying that is the fix for you. Just could be the switch.

Problem solved -

I pulled off the back panel (inside boot door)

Took out connection from motor to the catch and sprayed a good amount of WD40 onto both sides -
Problem solved!

Thanks for the suggestions -
