Regarding the Boot carpet, a few days ago I decided to take out both of the 3rd row seats since I will probably never be using them and I can use the space underneath to store some stuff.
What I discoverd is that once you remove both seats, the 2-way boot carpet does not have support in the middle. So basically if you place anything on the middle of the boot, it will push the floor down and stuff might fall under the carpet, and eventually I suppose the carpet will get damaged.
Does anyone have any ideas? It seems like there should be a piece of plastic or something like that, that should be installed in the middle once the seats are removed to support the floor.

There is a rigid plastic cover for the boot, wouldn't that be strong enough to hold it without anything extra?
But that's something that one would purchase additionally no?

And yes, it would definitely be helpful, but I just find it very strange that Peugeot did not come up with a solution for this, since they made the seats removable in the first place...

But so far, I must say, I am extremely happy with the vehicle as a whole :)

I got this boot net yesterday, ordered from amazon and it seems to be great. Fits perfectly in the 5008's boot, I find it very usefull for holding things in place and stop them from rolling over in the boot.

Edit: I have the ruber boot cover on order, together with rubber floor mats and seat covers, all original Peugeot. So I will post my findings when I receive everything, I hope the seat covers will be as good as they claim they are.

Here are some photos of the Boot cover I bought, some rubber floor mats and the seat covers. I installed only the rear seat covers for now, since that's where I really need them because of the baby-boss traveling in the rear :)

- Boot cover is light, made out of polyethylene, and seems to be very good quality. I ordered the polyethylene cover because it is very light and easier to remove than the rubber material, but I suppose the rubber one will be better in the long run.

- Floor mats are perfect, they fit perfectly and look very nice too. Very happy with them

- Seat covers... I paid 197 Euros for them (original Peugeot seat covers), and even though I knew they won't be anything special from the quality side, I was still dissapointed when I got them. They feel really cheap and I feel like if I ever need to wash them, they will fall apart... The good thing about them is that they fit perfectly and have all the little openings (airbag and such) at the right places. I installed them only in the rear because I want to enjoy in the beautifull looking front seats a bit longer.
