Hi all, my next little higgle with my car (it's been a bit of a rough start, but I forgive the car :D).

Where are the best points to lubricate the bonnet release cable?

After opening the bonnet earlier I couldn't get it to shut so I carefully drove it home with the bonnet on the latch. When home I used a pair of pliers to gently tug the cable by the bonnet catch and it shut without any further issues so I'm guessing it would need a bit of lubrication.

I have some TF2 Teflon lubricant spray which should do the job as it's designed for bike gear/brake cables.

It'll be the end under the catch which has rusted up, bit difficult to get at as it's under the top edge of the bumper moulding. I did manage to lubricate mine there which improved things.
