Hi.
Lifted the bonnet to do a few checks and put the bonnet prop into its proper place.
Went to the garage to get some screenwash and heard a nice crunch and thud.
Looked round to see the bonnet lying against the windscreen (prop had come out of the hole).
Metal nicely crumpled at the bottom of the A frames, with paint flaked off and bare metal showing.
No other damage I'm aware of.
Rubber mallet bent the sharp edges down a bit, but looks awful.
Any suggestions welcome :thumb:

anyone with common sense knows that to be fair, i would get it inspected as the pillars are quite a big part of the crumple zone of any car

Not sure on your model, but I have had the outer skin on A posts replaced before without replacing the whole post.
