Hi
I have a 2010 Peugeot 207 Verve HDi. The bluetooth won't connect to any of the families phones. I've paired in the past ok, but all of a sudden it won't have it. Tried it from the car to phone and vice versa. It simply fails every time. I'm nervous about disconnecting the battery as it might damage bsi or ask for a stereo code I don't have. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Thanks Joe
This might seem a stupid question, but is there any special way to disconnect? Frightened of electrocuting myself lol. I've taken off the plastic cover, and both the red and black cables are bolted on. Can I get a shock off it?

No, you cannot get a shock off a car battery, it is only 12 volts. Just be careful not to short the +ve and -ve terminals together or you could get a firework display!

There are detailed instructions for disconnecting and reconnecting here. I think you only need to disconnect one terminal to break & reset all circuits - a bit like doing a Ctrl-Alt-Del reboot on a computer.
