I have a 2002 Peugeot Expert 2.0 HDI .

The cylinder head & timing belt has been done, intercooler & maf sensor has been changed.
The oil & filter, fuel filter, air filter have all been changed.

Now my problem is when changing gear & accelerating it puffs out black smoke

Any ideas on what is causing this to happen ??

All suggestions welcome.

Thanks,
Dec

a leak in the intercooler pipe will cause them to emit a lot of black smoke. get someone to rev the engine while you check the intercooler pipes to see if they are holding pressure.
