Hi folks. I've just bought a 2009 Bipper 1.4hdi, and was surprised to find they want £240 to tax it for 12 months. I thought I'd done my research before buying and understood it was Euro 4 compliant and would cost £140 for the year.

Can any other owners confirm the tax rate? I know later ones with stop/start are Euro 5, but maybe not all earlier models were Euro 4 as I believed? You'd think this would be easy to find out online but it seems needlessly complicated.

Thanks for any advice :thumb:

It's scandalous. The Bipper Tepee car is £30 and the van is £240, it's almost like you're being punished for having the audacity to run a small business .
