Hi I'm new to this forum and really really need help. I have a 2012 Bipper van 1.3 Diesel non stop start. The issue is the has engine ceased. So it was taken to a garage to have a new engine fitted. The garage have informed me that they have fitted an engine with the stop start function on but are having issues. Is there anyway this can be bypassed or does it mean another engine.
The only way the engine starts is if you cross the starter. My mechanic is saying the BSI needs reprogramming. Which he is stating can only be done at a dealer for over £500.
