Hi. I've just bought a 2005 407 Coupé with the 2.7HDI engine. I need diagnostic software and have read of Planet and Diagbox. Can anyone please advise which would be best for my car? Also, I have an old laptop I can use for this. Which version of Windows is best to install on it?

Finally, where is best to get the software ad any special leads I need?

Thanks.

Diagbox is the later updated version of Planet, a 407 would require Diagbox.

You also need the Lexia interface & leads.

Your Windows version must be 32 bit!

XP or 7 would be best for an old laptop, just must be 32 bit!

That's great. Thanks very much. Do I just search eBay for the lead? Are they all okay or is there there a particular one that's best?

Is this the right kit? It says Diagbox in the title but doesn't seem to mention it in the listing details.

eBay listing No 273828359435

Is there a guide for installing Diagbox? I've read the PP install guide but I can't see one for the later software.
