Hi everyone!
Looking to see if anyone else has seen similar issues with a 2.2 diesel Boxer, 2014 plate (8 months old) where it doesn't start.
These things always happen at the weekends. Jumped in it - haven't used it in about 2 weeks - and turned the key. Usual preheat sequence, the fuel pump pumps etc. everything normal. Then turn it over. Engine turns over but the messages and gauge tells me it's overheating and I have no ABS.
It's doesn't start.
Highly unlikely it's overheated. It's -2 outside and not been used for over a week!

Are the starting electronics that fussy that the engine will turn, but not provide support to the engine with a low voltage but enough to crank it?
I've left the battery on charge overnight to test.

Next stop would be Monday and phoning Peugeot about my shiney warranty.

Cheers!

Yes get it recovered back to Peugeot and use the warranty. Possible the battery is in a little discharged state but you may be lucky in getting it started and driving it to the dealer just to give a little once over for FOC! Start abusing that warranty you paid for.
