Lord...I must be getting old! 30 years back I made a decent living out of fixing electrics on cars/bikes...& now I'm needing reassurance to replace a bloody battery...on my Quicksilver.
Please...is it the same, simple, 5min, job that it was & should still be?
Cos all this modern sensors, ecu's, codes, recodes, fobs, stuff freaks me out & I don't wanna end up having to deal with it, because I've dared to disconnect & reconnect a battery.
Thanks.

nothing to worry about, the 106 does not have a BSi so there is no battery disconnection procedure.
The only thing is the radio,it will ask for the code when you reconnect the battery.I hope you have it ?.
Also sometimes the alarm will go off? Especially if it's got an after market job.
Provided the key fob is working you will be able to kill it.
