Hello,

Peugeot 207 sw 61.

When I put the key in the ignition from cold the battery light starts flashing. The engine starts no problem. No other warning lights.

After I have driven the car the battery light doesn't come on again when i restart.

Should I be worried? Power drain? Time for a new battery or should I just do a reset?

Thanks in advance.

Flashing battery light is signal that car has gone into economy mode. BSI does this when battery voltage drops.

Possible that your battery is starting to age and voltage drops when left for a period of time triggering economy mode. Once BSI sees running engine it switches off economy mode
