Hi ive after alot of help from the forum managed to get my 307 running BUT now only starting with an extra boost from a jump start. I bought a brand new Bosch battery but just does'nt seem to have enough gutts to start. Have run some electrical tests and it seems something is pulling more power than needed away from battery, its fine with jump start not on its own. Any ideas what it could be or what to check.
Thanks Mick

Hi Mick, I've recently had some problems with my 02 307 HDI battery. This might be rather basic as I don't know what you've done so far, but have you tried cleaning the clips that hook onto the battery terminals? One of mine was heavily corroded, and since its such a low power circuit even a small amount of corrosion can create enough resistance to affect the power flow.

My symptom was similar to having a knackered battery, but I scraped all the rust from the inside of the lever/clip thing, cleaned it up and it started fine - no new battery needed!
