I have a brand new 208 Allure 1.2 EAT6.

I have only had the car 3 days, when parking the car and at a full stop, I want to move a little closer in, I take my foot off the brake very slowly and the car lunges forward almost jumping forward. I thought it should 'creep' forward. It does it in reverse too... feels like a kangaroo, bouncing about.

Do all of the autos do this?

If I take it back, will they be able to sort it?

I imagine you a have a robotised manual gearbox rather than a conventional automatic transmission. As it doesn't have a fluid filled torque converter there isn't the same creep as with a 'proper' auto, it is down to how the motorised clutch is activated, may improve with use but I think I would return it to the dealers, maybe there is a software update.

EAT6 is a compact torque converter, so traditional slushbox with a few enhancements. It should be smooth so return back to the dealer

Does it have stop-start? If so did the engine restart causing the lunge forward?
