Anyone else had the auto warn hazard lights activate yet?

Had to stop in a hurry yesterday & it seems Peugeot has updated the feature for rapid deceleration, the hazard lights now flash at strobe light speed until the car comes to a stop before they return to a normal flashing rate.

Had the 308 nearly a year & it's the first time I've triggered them but nice to know they work.

Sounds like a good safety feature to stop a rear end shunt on heavy braking. Some cars have a flashing brake light on heavy braking .

Looked on Peugeot spec and its listed

Automatic hazard light activation upon heavy brake application:lol:

Autowarn hazards feature is standard on multiplexed Peugeot / Citroen vehicles.

Unless it's been turned off in the BSI configuration set up.

I've had this a few times whilst driving in the UK and having someone tailgating me at speed...

Oddly in Germany it didn't seem to come on when braking from top speed to 70 mph...
