I'm just about to replace the nearside driveshaft on my 2006 Boxer and was wondering if there are any special tools or equipment I need before I start? I have done this job on other vehicles so don't anticipate any problems but thought I would check first.

One thought I did have is that I might need a puller to remove the hub from the shaft, or does it come out relatively easily?

Any pointers gratefully received.
