Hi guys

I have the antipollution fault and car is "choking" for a few seconds while starting up.

Haven't check the faulty codes yet. Should I use general software to read the faulty codes or pp? Can I clear the code myself or I need computer to do it?

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

Answer depends on many variables the most important being petrol/diesel !

Getting to route of reason for the antipollution fault needs planet and the codes you read are only a guide to problem

If it says egr flow low it does not mean egr needs replaced

If it says turbo boost low it does not mean turbo needs replaced

If it says airflow low it does not mean airflow meter faulty :)

P0598 - thermostat heater control circuit low
P1067 - (07E8) - no desc.
P1050 - (07E8) - no desc.
P0010 - camshaft position actuator circuit open bank 1

P1015 - Variable valve lift position sensor, relay, motor, camshaft position (CMP) actuator, ECM

P1067 variable valve relay malfunction

faulty codes appeared when the fuse box was replaced then I put the original back and cleared the faulty codes, noting is appearing since then.

the problems at the moment are: "choking" when start up, vibration (cabin shakes) when turing off engine (not always though) and a/c issue.

I plan to check the wires myself as a last resort.

Also wanted to check that separate circuit to the compressor but would probably need some detailed explenation how to do this, if anyone can explain.

I know that I probably should visit a dealer but still hope I can find something myself before I do that
