My father has had this warning light illuminated nearly as many times as he has started the vehicle (207 59 plate) - he has had the car from virtually new and it has now covered 24,000 miles. It has been fully serviced and maintained.
As this is clearly an issue with Peugeots, surely there should be some responsibility upon the manufacturers to correct?

Exactly!

My point exactly! Despite having the problem since new, and despite having been maintained by authorised dealers, the problem still exists - the manufacturers don't want to know although this should be a warranty issue!

if it had this warning since he bought it why did he not take it back to the garage he bought it from?

might be worth checking all the connections to the sensors make sure none of them are loose etc - I had a DPF fault on my 407 that was solved by wiggling the air sensor connection ;)

The vehicle HAS been back to the 'selling' garage - which is the point I've tried to make. It has also been to another Peugeot specialist (on more than one occasion) specifically for this to be remedied.
