hi guys

I have the notorious anti pollution warning message come on display along with the engine management light after the car sits for a little while turned off the lights come off and the cars back to normal.

I had my local garage do a diagnostic on it and i forgot to write down the codes however it came out with the crank shaft sensor for the anti pollution warning he cleared this for me but its come back on

i presume its just a sensor however my local garage also said if we change the sensor and it still comes on it may well be the cat? is this normal??

i have 51 plate 1.9 hdi rapier.... i dont have the bottle or something that my local garage was looking for underneath the car that some kind of anti-pollution liquid goes in

just wanted to know why this has happened is it the cat? or would it be the sensor?? i mainly do motorway runs but have recently acquired the vehicle from a private seller
