Hi all

I own a 308 SW Allure. This weekend I tinted the rear side windows and started to wonder if the front windscreen is anthermic or at least has some sort of solar protection? While I was looking around for a new car, this feature was coming as a standard for most of the cars I was considering - Astra K, Megan etc, thus I didn't bother to check with Peugeot if the 308 comes with it. To be quite honest, I haven't had any doubts, since the 308 prices were much higher than Astra K for example, but now that the sun starts to shine through the glass, I am not that certain the windscreen reduces any part of the heat.

AFAIK all 308 have anthermic windscreen. If you have polarized glasses you can easily see the difference.

My is Standard windscreen/Acoustic laminated windscreen

I can't recall if I noticed any 308 with those specific color of windscreen visible at some angle. My old Scenic have athermic windscreen.

On my old 207 it was athermic windscreen and in that time I had glasses with polarized glasses so it was different color . I will check on my 308 and let you know.

My father has a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 2 (a PSA car from the same generation like the 308) which comes with athermic windscreen (as advertised on a certain level of the car specification) but I haven't noticed to have any different color reflection like some other cars do.
