Hi
I've just ordered a 308 GT which is due for a May build and delivery in June and I have a question which I cant find an answer to anywhere. Will I be able to link my Samsung S7 to the USB port and then control the music from the touch screen? If so will it just work or does it have Mirrorlink or similar?

I forgot to ask this before ordering and now worried I wont be able to pay music other than through Bluetooth which i know has limitations.

AFAIK no mirror link in the 308 as its a 2014 design. In the 3008 yes there is as thats 2015 design

Ok so there is no mirror link but can I still contect my Samsung to the USB and play music through the system using the car's touch screen?

It should see it as a USB device and access the files on the phone. It sees my iPhone and looks for media files. I have a HDD loaded with music so don't need to stream from my phone. I control music from the screen and also the steering wheel

You can always stream via Bluetooth and control next track/previous track. With my Galaxy S6 it works fine.
