I picked up my 3008 1. 6L BlueHDi 120 S&S 6-speed manual (Sunset Copper). Stunning car, great drive and love the tech. However I have been unable to connect my phone (HTC 1 M9) to Android Auto although the Android Auto logo does appear on the initial App screen. Anyone managed to do this?

Have you installed the android auto app on your phone?

No problems with my Oneplus 3 - assuming you have Android Auto installed on your phone it might be down to your cable. The one that came with the phone works best.

Yep, did that before attaching the phone via the USB

Thats it sorted now, it was a cable issue.

Does the phone charge when connected to USB ?

I always have Android Auto (Spotify +/-
Google maps) running when I have my phone connected and the battery level is certainly maintained and it may even add some charge too. I'd imagine phone would charge better without AA running.

I've tried and failed to find out the current rating of the USB in the 3008.

Invested in a good quality short USB cable for the sake of neatness.
