Hi! I have now changed the both bw valves in my 307 1.6 - 06 because the box gave me fault code 06 sometimes. Took out the valve body and changed these to fellows and at the same time cleaned it all up. Changed the oil and reset oil wear and reset the adaption values. I read out before the change that the oilpressure was too high on idle, around 5/6bar and could not get higher than 11.3bar att full load. After change of valves the low pressure comes down too 4 bars now but i still goes into limp mode everytime i drive away. Took it to a dealer to make a software upgrade for gearbox but it didn't help. Has anyone had this problem or heard about it? The fault is now permanent but it started to be just once a day to be more and more freqvent. The oil i gearbox was very good and no metal or so in it. Any suggests?

As I said i my first post, the oil is new. The filter in this gearbox can't be changed without dismantling the box because its mounted direct on the oilpump. If filter are clogged i would have a to low pressure all the time? Now its too high on low rpm and doesn't go over 11.3bar on higher rpm/load.

If it were me doing the diagnosis I would be checking the things that has to be in good nick for any piece of equipment to operate properly. Clean oil, clean filter. etc. Then if all ok I would then start thinking about other things that could cause the problem. Not being a auto gearbox specialist I cannot explain what could cause that if indeed it has high pressure. I am sure the box has a control to prevent that happening.

If it had been easy to check the filter it would be the first thing look at, but in these AL4 you have to take the box out of the car and take all apart. I have checked with several gearbox specialists but nibe of them had a similar problem so i took a chance here if someone on this forum had any experience of the problem, my problem is that i live in sweden and The car is located in cyprus at our holiday place, and The knowledge in peugeot AL4 down there is bad, they just change gearbox when its bad. But i as a mechanic want to repair things when its possible.
