Guys

Normally, when disconnecting an airbag on any car, I would just disconnect the battery for 20-30mins.

I notice that with the 307, they reccomend that the airbag controller is ALSO disconnected.... not just the battery.

Thoughts?

ive always removed the earth from the battery and leaving it for 10/20 mins and then reconnecting it enables the airbags that's the procedure for when working on the car as far as im aware of,

only other way is through diagnostics.

Hi

Thanks - glad to hear I'm not alone with this!

I checked the Haynes 307 manual today, and it states unplugging the (center console mounted) airbag unit too.. so there must be something in it...

Unless the world just worries too much...
