Hi guys

I bought my first Peugeot(2010 308 sw sport 1.6 petrol auto) in January.
A couple of weeks ago I use the air con is the first time but it didn't work. (It has only air-conditioner not climate control)

I went to ATS for a re-gas, he check for any leaks and recharge it (no leaks, full pressure) but the air con still doesn't work. (At least he didn't charge me)

I think it's a electric problem because I can't see or hear any difference on Compressor clutch when I put air con on and off. I don't know if the clutch is engaged or not but the pulley and the pulley centre is spinning together (Looks like it is a Denso compressor)
I checked the voltage from the plug Brown wire, on or off its the same 3v.

I don't know what to do next. I can't find and I can't hear the relay.
I thought may be bypass the plug by connect from the battery through the compressor clutch socket to earth but I don't know if it will engage the clutch or may be even worse cause damage. What do you think?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Tony

The pulley itself the middle part won’t spin if it’s not on so if it’s spinning too it may be on or may just be knackered

Have you actually pressed the a c button and put recirculate button on

Mine has a leak but still works for a bit if I top it up

Yes the A/C and the recirculate button is on.

The middle of the pulley (I suppose where the clutch is) and the pulley itself is spinning together all the time whether the A/C is on or off, it's the same when I remove plug form the compressor.
I'm not familiar with this type of clutch.(See the photos)

Later I'll will energise the clutch and are see what happens.

I checked the compressor clutch today, I'm sure it's stuck on, either the compressor is dodgy and caused the damage clutch or the compressor running all time caused the damage but I think I'll have to buy a new compressor.
