Hello,
I am looking to purchase Peugeot 3008 e-HDi model 2012 with around 140000km on it.
I was told to check if mileage is real by opening oil filling cap when the engine is running. If there are no excessive air blowing and oil spitting, the mileage is probably real.
However, when I opened the cap I noticed considerable air blowing and oil spitting. Seller, however, guaranties for mileage with service book and the fact that vehicle is bought from leasing company. He also told me that oil spitting is normal for these new motors, because they use some high pressure oil pumps?
Otherwise, car is very responsive and dynamic and except for this, I don’t have any other concerns.
Any comments?
