I have a caravan also but am risking the auto. Have the EAT6 in our 508GT 2.2 and that tows our van fine, so hoping theres no issue with the 3008. Weight of the car is more an issue than the gearbox to be fair.

I think you'll be fine, I wasn't saying I ordered the manual gearbox because of towing more the 2 litre diesel over the 1.6. Wife didn't want an auto box after having one in the 508SW which she never liked.

Looking forward to the analysis and subsequent conclusions from your age study here. I think you may need to control for sex of owner, current income, geographical location and marital status at the very least in order to reach any sensible conclusions though.
