Anyone any experience of fitting an after Market HUD. Something similar to this

Car HUD Head Up Display OBD2 OBDII EOBD Speed Warning System Fuel Alarm Vehicle

My only issue is do I want a cable trailing across the dash to reach the OBD port. I know I could tuck it aong the edge of the windscreen etc. There are ones that work from GPS and so are wireless but they are more money.
Thinking of getting one I'm a bit of a gadget freak!!
Any opinions ideas, alternatives??

Installation as with other things, like dash cameras, is a skill.

I hate seeing cables draped everywhere, so would rather spend a few hours taking pieces apart to route cables neatly.

I'm sure if you studied the job there would be a way of routing leads neatly and safely out of your way.
