Last weekend I had both track rod ends replaced. Since then the car throws up esp fault. No abs just the esp. The esp button still works as in light comes on /off when pressed at normal speed but not at motorway speed.

I know it will need the codes reading but could this be related to the work recently done? The car is going back this week for a cv boot replacing so any advice / suggestions would be appreciated.

Steering wheel sensor needs 're calibrating or tracking is out and wheel is not straight when driving will cause the issue

That sounds spot on. Steering is off centre and will be aligned following fitting of the cv boot.

Hi sorry to jump in on this thread, my 407 has just recently had the steering rack replaced and track rod ends done too, I'm getting exactly the same thing , after driving for about 10 mins just the esp light comes on and not the abs? Could mine have the same issue and how do I resolve? Thanks
